Former PRC vice Premier Mr. Li Lanqing
visited SYSNMH
The former PRC vice premier Mr. Li Lanqing paid a
visit to SYSNMH on 5th July 2006. Mr. Kwek Leng Joo, Chairman of SYSNMH,
Mr. Chua Thian Poh, President of SCCCI, Mr. Wan Shung Ming, Chairman of
property committee, SCCCI and Mr. Lim Sah Soon, Secretary General of SCCCI
accompanied the former vice premier for the visiting.

China National Peoples¡¯s Congress Chairman visited
Memorial Hall
Mr. Wu Bang Guo, China National Peoples¡¯s
Congress Chairman, accompanied by his wife and senior Chinese officials,
and visited Sun Yat Sen Villa on 18th May
2005.
After more than one hour tour in the Memorial
Hall, he told the media it had been an impressive walk through the life of
the doctor-turned revolutionary who changed china modern history.

Ministry of Home Affairs, visited Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall on 28
March 2004
Mr. Wong Kan Seng, Minister of Ministry of Home
Affairs, visited Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall on 28 March 2004. He
empresses keen interest and appreciation on the displayed artifacts and
exhibits.
Photo 1: During the interview by media, Mr. Wong said that Wan Qing
Yuan possesses historical meaning and value for Singapore¡¯s involvement
in over-throwing the late Qing Dynasty. The exhibits show the manpower,
materials and financial supports given to Dr. Sun Yat Sen to publicise
nationalism and to revolt against the Qing Government. Singapore young
generation should know more about this portion of the history.

Mr. Lee Seng Ghee (4th from left), Chairman
of Lee Foundation, together with a 5-member team, paid a surprise
visit to the Villa. Director Mr. Foong showed them around the Memorial
Hall, in particular, highlighting exhibits and projects that were funded
by donations from the Lee Foundation.

by the life-like wax figures.
