Due to overwhelming
response, the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) is extending the
International Calligraphy Exhibition till 25th November 2003.
The International Calligraphy Exhibition is held in
commemoration of the 137th birthday anniversary of Dr Sun Yat Sen. On
display are calligraphy works by well-known calligraphers from all over
the world, including China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand,
Philippines, Brunei, Indonesia, America, Canada, Brazil, Britain, France
and Holland.
Originally scheduled from
9-19th November 2003, the Exhibition has attracted strong response from
the public. As a result, the Memorial Hall is extending the exhibition
period for another 6 days.
The International
Calligraphy Exhibition is held in association with Shi Cheng Calligraphy
& Seal-Carving Society (Singapore) and is sponsored by Lee Foundation.
All exhibits will be permanently kept by SYSNMH after the Exhibition.
Specially for the exhibition
period, the Memorial Hall will be open on Mondays (10th, 17th and 24th
November 2003) and on the public holiday on 25th November 2003. The
opening hours will also be extended as follows::
Monday to
Friday : 10:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday and Sunday : 10:00am to 8:00pm
Special admission rates during this period:
Adult
: $2.00/pax
Senior citizen: $1.00/pax

: $1.00/pax
